Choose Healthier, Milder Sulphate Free BOUDICA™ Shampoos and Conditioner

Ordinary Shampoos Don't

There are a variety of reasons for choosing a sulphate free hair product in general and Boudica® in particular. Many value Sulphate Free products for their mildness and the superior hair results after repeated usage. Others avoid the chemical by-products that sulphates such as Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLES), Ammonium Lauryl Sulphate (ALS) and other related sulphate-based ingredients sometimes contain. Still others value sulphate free hair products for their observed ability to preserve keratin straightening and hair colourant.

With Boudica, we’ve gone way healthier than merely Sulphate Free. We’re also free from Harsh Salts, Glycol, Formaldehyde, Paraben, Artificial Colours & Fragrances. Instead, we use healthy, natural ingredients such as organic aromatherapy oils.

For clients outside of British Commonwealth countries, including the United States and much of Europe, you may be wondering why we spell “Sulphate” with a “ph” rather than with an “f” as in “sulfate”. It’s tradition to spell “Sulphate” with a “ph” in Britain, where Boudica is produced.

However you spell it, it's time to protect your precious hair by choosing Boudica today.

Love this product! Huge difference in my hair with sulfate and paraben free. It left my hair so soft and much less dry the very first time I used it!

This is, hands down, the best shampoo I have ever used. I have incredibly sensitive scalp and the slightest thing will set it off itching and peeling. I’ve used this for two weeks now: no irritation *at all*. It took me a long time to work out that it was sulphates that set my skin off, since I did I’ve tried a variety of dermatological brand sulphate-free shampoos. None of those come close, they still made my scalp itch even though they’re supposed to be super gentle and made for babies. The other reviewers are spot on, you only need a pound-sized amount (I have very thick hair), it lathers beautifully and leaves my hair feel scrubbed clean. I would recommend you use the conditioner with it, and leave it in for a couple of minutes. Again, only a small amount is needed, it smells *divine* and leaves my hair soft and silky and weightless-feeling. A+ would recommend to anyone with sensitive skin. The higher price is totally worth it, it’s super economical. I’m never going back to anything else.
